Tipped onto larger leaf bearing the biographical details of Thomas Baker as compiled by and in the hand of Anne Susanna Nichols (1788-1853). Some browning, else in very good condition.Thomas Baker was one of the great antiquaries of his day and the majority of his extensive collection of manuscripts is now housed in the British Library and Cambridge University. These include books printed by Caxton and other priceless manuscripts and examples of early printing.....
